A skillet breakfast recipe

2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
1 Bag of Shredded Hash Browns ( slightly thawed )
1 Bag of Jimmy Dean’s Original Sausage Links ( Use as many links as you’d like ) OR use Bacon instead
5 Eggs (scrambled and no need to add milk )
1 Package of Crimini Mushrooms or Button Mushrooms (use about 75% of the mushrooms)
1 Block Medium Cheddar Cheese OR Your Favorite Cheese (Shredded and use enough to cover the everything)
1 Small Tomato (Chopped )
1/2 An Onion (Chopped)
Handful of Chopped Green Onions
Salt & Black Pepper to taste

* You can also add some chopped green & red bell peppers if you’d like !

On medium high add a little bit of oil to a skillet.
Once the oil is heated add the onions & mushrooms and cook for about 2 minutes. IF you’re going to add green & red bell peppers then this is the time to add them in as well.
Add the shredded hash browns, mix everything and cook for 5 minutes.
Then press down on the hash browns. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Add the sliced sausage links and pour in the eggs to completely cover everything.
Add the shredded cheese, tomatoes, and green onions.
Lower the heat to Medium Low, cover with a lid and cook for 10 to 15 minutes until the eggs are set.
Sprinkle with salt & black pepper to taste.

*** If you’d like to use bacon instead of sausages then cook the bacon first in the pan until as crispy as you’d like it. Then remove and place on a paper towel to drain the fat. Cut into small bite size pieces and then add the bacon on top of the breakfast skillet just before serving.
